Los Angeles, CA March 19, 2020--Although the corona virus crisis has temporarily shuttered the Cinema Bar in Culver CIty, CA—where Hot Club of Los Angeles’ acclaimed Monday night gypsy jazz residency has been running since 2011—the group is streaming weekly performances online from Doyle Audio.

The next live stream is scheduled for Monday, March 23, 9-11pm PT with special guest, guitar maestro John McDuffie joining HCLA for two sets of the band’s trademark mix of Django Reinhardt repertoire; French, Roma and Russian songs; straight ahead jazz numbers; soundtrack selections and gypsy jazz-inspired originals composed by band members. Joining with McDuffie will be HCLA members Jake Bluenote (guitar/vocal), Carl Byron (accordion/piano/vocal), Paul Eckman (bass) and Jim Doyle (drums/producer).
